An air-conditioned, luxury ten suite cattery located near Haysden Country Park in Tonbridge.
Viewings are strictly by appointment only
A luxury air-conditioned, purpose built cattery, opened in 2025. The cattery, located in a beautiful setting, provides a fully enclosed, secure, sheltered environment.
The accommodation consists of ten, fully secure, luxury suites. All are fully insulated with heated sleeping bedroom areas and air conditioning for year round comfort and enrichment areas. The cattery is south facing allowing lots of natural sunlight into the suites.
The accommodation fully complies with all DEFRA regulations providing you with complete peace of mind.
'A room with a view'
Immersed in the countryside, each suite looks out onto a vast expanse of greenery. Your cat should expect to see lots of wild birds, insects and our free range chickens pecking around. Pictured is the farmers field which the cattery is orientated towards.
Beautiful sunrises and sunsets are visible from the cattery suites (weather dependant of course!)

The cattery has been designed with light in mind.
With a south facing orientation, sunlight reaches each suite and allows plenty of opportunity for sunbathing.
Windows span the entire length of the cattery allowing a fresh countryside breeze.

Fun climbing towers are situated in each pen.
Ample shelves are available giving your cat the ability to get up high and do lots of climbing!
Toys and Tunnels are in each pen providing lots of fun.

Up a ladder, through a cat flap and into a completely private bedroom is where your cat will find their clean, cosy bed.
Thermostat controlled radiators are fitted in this area so that in those colder months the area is nice and cosy.

Vaccinations Requirements
Core Vaccinations

If you are unsure if your cat meets this criteria please consult with your vet.
Vaccination Certificate - Must be sent at the time of booking (confirmation of the stay is dependant on this alongside the deposit)
A physical copy will need to arrive with the cat and remain at the cattery throughout your cats stay.
Please note - to protect the safety, health and well being of our guests your cat MUST have all of the required vaccinations and we must be provided with the proof of this on arrival and upon time of booking.
These rules are set by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council. There is no movement or negotiations in regards to our vaccination policy.
At Haysden Country Cattery we do not accept Titre Testing as an alternative to vaccinations.
Cats must be vaccinated once every twelve months leading on from their two primary vaccinations.
If they miss the twelve month jab (4 weeks grace period) they will need to restart their primary vaccination course receiving both primary vaccination jabs at least two weeks to the day before boarding with us.
We recommend a minimum time between receiving a booster vaccination and entry into the cattery of 14 days. This will allow any adverse reactions to the drugs to clear, and will ensure your cat is fully protected.
It is the solely the owners responsibility to ensure that their cat is vaccinated in time for their stay.
Whilst Haysden Country Cattery are happy to advise and give guidance on the above policy we will not enter into discussion regarding negotiation or allowances.
Your cat will be denied entry into the cattery without an sufficient/fully up to date vaccination record.

Feeding requirements will be confirmed and recorded on your cat's arrival.
Microchip
As of July 2024, under council regulations your cat must be microchipped to be able to stay in a licenced boarding cattery.
Deposit
50% of the total booking fee will be charged in advance to secure your cat’s stay. This is non-refundable but can be transferred onto another booking if we are able to accommodate the dates.
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 14 days notice in the event of a cancellation or shortening of dates. If we are notified outside of this period the full outstanding balance will be required unless we are able to offer the stay to another customer where a partial refund may be offered at our discretion.
Minimum Stay Period
There is a minimum stay of five days during the listed school holidays.
(February half term, Easter, May half term, Summer Holidays and October half term.
Outside of school holidays is a three day minimum stay period.
Christmas and New Year
There is a minimum stay of seven days over the Christmas period.
We are closed for collections/drop offs on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

We want you to be happy that the Haysden Country Cattery is the perfect choice so are pleased to offer viewings. Viewings are strictly by appointment only.

Illness during stay
A condition of your cat’s stay is that your cat is in a fit and healthy condition and has proof of vaccination against Panleukopenia, Cat Flu (Herpes + Calici) . Guests are boarded at the sole risk of their owners and whilst every care will be taken, Haysden Country Cattery cannot be liable for illness, injury or death of any animal in our care.
If your cat should appear unwell whilst in our care, we will first try to contact the owner, alongside your own vet.
Should this not be possible for any reason, we will enlist the services of our Veterinary Surgeon.
Any fees incurred during the cats stay will be the responsibility of the owner and must be paid at the time of required treatment regardless of the medical complaint. Haysden Country Cattery will not, under any circumstance be responsible for paying veterinary fees for a cat in our care.
Un-Neutered Males
Unfortunately, we do not accept un-neutered male cats over the age of six months to stay with us.
Kittens and Senior Cats
Kittens - Haysden Country Cattery can accept cats of any age over 4 months (17weeks) at the disclosure of the business owner.
Senior Cats - At Haysden Country Cattery, we welcome senior cats and understand that older guests may require additional monitoring and consideration during their stay.
For the purpose of boarding, we classify cats aged 10 years and over as senior. Upon arrival, if your cat is 10 years or over you will be required to read and sign our 'elderly cat policy'. Any medical conditions must be made aware and acceptance of the cat is at the disclosure of the business owner.
Annual Holiday
We are closed for collections/drop offs on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Each year, the cattery is closed for two weeks in March and two weeks in November. Please enquire to check availability during these months.
Right to Refuse
Haysden Country Cattery reserves the right to refuse admission where vaccination is unclear or poses any risk to other cats. It is the sole responsibility of the owner to ensure their cat/cats are fully up to date at the time of boarding.
Your cat will be denied entry into the cattery without an sufficient/fully up to date vaccination record.
We provide a calm, respectful environment at our cattery. We therefore reserve the right to refuse customers where interactions or behaviour have not met the standards that we require.
Price Increase - In effect for all bookings from 1st January 2027
Our prices increase for all bookings from 1st January 2027 by £2.00 per day.
